Install Yuli

Download the IDE for free for 64-bit Windows, macOS, or Linux and open it for the first time.

BETAYuli Code 0.0.78 (BETA) · October 19, 2026

The installer for this release is coming very soon.

Yuli installs on your machine and works locally: only the AI you choose goes out to the internet. It's free and doesn't require an account.

Yuli is in BETA. If something breaks, use Help → Report a problem… and share it on GitHub: every report helps us polish it.

Download

The button on this page detects your system and takes you to the latest published version. You can also choose another format.

System Formats
Windows x64 .exe installer, .zip, and portable Yuli-Code-Portable-<versión>-x64.exe.
macOS .dmg and .zip.
Linux x64 .AppImage and .deb.

Install

Windows

  • Installer: run the .exe. You can choose the installation folder; it creates shortcuts on the desktop and in the Start menu.
  • Portable: run Yuli-Code-Portable-<versión>-x64.exe from anywhere, with no installation. The first time, it unpacks the application into your local folder; after that it starts instantly.
  • Zip: extract it to any folder and run Yuli from there.

The portable version doesn't update itself. To get automatic updates, use the installer.

macOS

Open the .dmg and drag Yuli to Applications.

Linux

  • AppImage: make it executable (chmod +x on the file) and open it.
  • Debian and Ubuntu: install the .deb with your package manager (sudo apt install ./archivo.deb).

First launch

  1. Welcome. “Welcome to Yuli Code” appears with the essentials of the IDE.
  2. Language. Yuli uses your system language if it's available; otherwise, English. Change it whenever you like. See Languages.
  3. How do you want to connect AI? Choose With your subscription (Claude Code, Kiro, Codex, or Antigravity; this is the default) or With your API key. You can Skip and decide later.
  4. Start screen. With nothing open, the editor offers you four paths: Ask the AI, Open a file, Design a screen, and Run and test.

To see the welcome screen again, use Help → Initial setup…. For a seven-step guided tour, use Help → Tour and initial setup….

Project trust

The first time you open a project, Yuli asks “Do you trust this project?”:

  • Trust: runs the project's annotation processors (Lombok) and Maven/Gradle for a complete analysis.
  • Restricted mode: doesn't run any code from the repository.

Choose Trust only for projects you know. You can change it in Global options → Security. See Sandbox and permissions.

Updates

The installer checks for updates at startup, downloads them, and applies them when you close the app. Every download is verified against its signature and its SHA-512 checksum. Configure the channel (stable or beta) and automatic checking in Help → Check for updates….

Uninstall

  • Windows: from Settings → Apps, or delete the portable or zip folder.
  • macOS: drag Yuli from Applications to the Trash.
  • Linux: delete the AppImage or uninstall the package.

Your settings live in the .yulicode folder in your user directory; delete it if you want to start from scratch.
