Documentation / The agent
Review changes
The AI changes window: nothing reaches the disk without your review, and everything can be undone with checkpoints.
No change from the agent reaches the disk without going through review. Every proposed modification is presented as an explicit diff, file by file, before it's written.
Open AI changes
| Way | How |
|---|---|
| Shortcut | Ctrl+Alt+R (“AI change review”) |
| Right rail | AI changes button. Shows a counter when there are changes to review. |
| Menu | View → Pending changes |
| From the chat | Review and approve on the proposal card. |
AI changes lives as one more tab next to the editor, without losing the state of the code in the background. To go back, click Close AI changes (back to the editor).
Pending and History
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| Pending | Proposals awaiting your decision. |
| History | Everything applied, grouped by task, with its checkpoints. |
Review a change
- Pick a file from the list.
- View the diff side by side or inline.
- Decide:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Approve all | Applies all pending changes. |
| Apply (n) | Applies only the hunks you selected. |
| Discard | Rejects the proposal. |
Per-hunk approval
You can accept only some hunks of a file. Yuli shows how many will be applied (“3 of 5 blocks will be applied”). Whatever isn't selected stays pending.
Ctrl+Alt+Enter approves everything pending from anywhere in the IDE.
Checkpoints
Each applied task leaves a checkpoint in the History.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| ⤺ Go back to this point | Undoes this change and all later ones. |
| ↺ Revert | Reverts one specific change. |
Undo a whole task
Undoing a task reverts all the files it touched, with a preview.
- ↺ Undo task in the turn summary, in the chat.
- More actions → Undo an agent task, in the chat header.
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Z: undoes the agent's last task.Alt+Shift+Z: undoes only the last thing it applied.
If you edited any of those files afterwards, Yuli asks you per file: Keep my changes or Overwrite.
Changes from external agents
In Subscription mode, everything Claude Code, Kiro, Codex or Antigravity does also shows up in AI changes:
- One group per agent, with one entry per turn.
- The diff of each file, including those the agent changed with shell commands.
- Open in changes, from the conversation, opens that turn.
- Revert opens “undo task”, which warns you if you edited anything afterwards.
Autonomy
By default you review every proposal before it reaches the disk. If you want some to apply on their own, set up rules in Agent → Autonomy… (allowed paths, denied paths, maximum files per turn). Even then, everything stays in the History and can be undone. See Sandbox and permissions.
